To get a dumpster permit in Houston, you have to fill out an application form, along with an affidavit that should be notarized. Visit the Houston solid waste website for more information.
Generally in a Houston residential area, you can place the dumpster on the street if it does not conflict with any homeowner’s association bylaws or obstruct traffic or neighbors property. For commercial jobs, a permit is going to be required to place a permit on the street and the dumpster cannot obstruct and sidewalks or building exits.
